LiDAR + SLAM

The core technology: LiDAR

Light Detection and Ranging uses pulsed laser light to measure distance. Combined with the other data the airborne system records, those pulses generate precise three-dimensional information about the shape of a surface and its characteristics.

The brains: SLAM

Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping builds or updates a map of an unknown environment while keeping track of the agent's own position within it. That is what lets our drones navigate and map complex, GPS-denied tunnels autonomously and accurately.
